Vive la Belgique!

Dear Belgium,
I'd just like to say thanks for: awesome, bright, friendly, and funny people, your tons of top-quality chocolat, your very yummmmy gauffres (waffels), your amazing culture and history, and naturally your charming and beautiful towns.

Dear Friends and Family,
For Veterans Day yesterday Veronica's host family and I took a DAY TRIP to Belgium. That's a DAY trip people. After a mere 3 hour car ride we arrived in Dr. Evil's hometown of Bruge to: tour the town, eat moules frites (mussels and french fries, which originated in Belgium, not France) - in the same restuarant that Audrey Hepburn, Donald Sutherland, and some prince I've never heard of went to; to take a boat tour through the canals and under the ancient bridges of the town; and above all, to look at chocolate breasts. Yes, chocolate boobs. Chocolate buttocks with chocolate thongs too. Note: Pictures will be published soon. No I kid, I keeed. We just happened to come across these sensual delicacies while strolling through the quintessentially European, yet uniquely Belgian streets. The chocolate we bought was however, I have to admit, a butt, excuse me, a bit more traditional. Being the chocolate capital of the world, none of us passed on the opportunity to stock up on the good stuff. We must have seen at least 15 chocolatiers, and visited at least 3 of them. Up to this point, I have been able to see the scale when I weigh myself. Maybe that'll change soon. Overall, it was an amazing day that I will never, never forget. After all, I can now cross off another country that I've been to. That's a pretty big dealio.

Over and out.
Sending my best to everyone,
Ez
